We are a family owned and operated business founded in 2018, based right here in Tulsa! Co-Owned and Operated by husband and wife TEAM Liz & Keith Perkins.

How did we start?

The L1 Auto Group (Our Parent Company) started as a one man part time operation for our co-owner, Keith Perkins. Keith struggled to find repair shops that valued his passion for continuing training, and love of the industry. Keith started the business as a weekend and evening job only servicing other repair shops and collision centers.

Keith set out to start a company that specialized in all of the difficult jobs, and those that 99% of repair shops would send to the dealer, but as a convenient mobile service to help those shops fix customers vehicles.

On November 5th 2018 the full time company of L1 Automotive Diagnostics and Programming LLC (Our Mobile division) was born!

In early 2019 Keith needed help with running the van, with Liz and Keith’s two daughters being in school, Liz was able to start helping him, Liz started by doing module programming and ADAS (ADAS was her real passion). Very quickly Liz got her own van and L1 was fully staffed with two full time mobile technicians in Tulsa.

In mid 2020 Keith and Liz determined they needed a “home base” for ADAS calibrations when other shops didn’t have a suitable space, they got a single bay space in Collinsville, OK (Small town north of Tulsa).

By 2021 L1 had outgrown the space and moved to a larger location in Tulsa. Although traditionally L1 only serviced other repair shops and collision centers, the amount of customer requested repairs and work for the general public had risen to a point where Keith and Liz had to open the doors to everyone.

Keith and Liz started Level 1 Automotive a traditional brick and mortar repair shop that serviced the general public. With five people total L1 was able to run the shop and the mobile company.

In 2022, outgrowing the space again, L1 moved to their current location, a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot completely climate controlled facility with equipment for everything from oil changes and suspension repairs, to alignments, tire replacement and tire balancing to circuit board repairs and everything in between!

Today, L1 Automotive Diagnostics and Programming LLC is running multiple full time mobile service vehicles in the Tulsa, Oklahoma City & Northwest Arkansas areas, and Level 1 Automotive is servicing vehicle owners in a traditional repair facility and GROWING every day!
